Nikki Nicole Hurtado is a litigation attorney at Ferraro Law, where she focuses her practice on product liability and environmental toxic tort litigation. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ms. Hurtado brings her passion for advocacy, precision in litigation, and deep commitment to community service to every case she handles.
Ms. Hurtado earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law with a Concentration in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She was the recipient of multiple honors, including the King & Spalding Endowed Scholarship, the Kessler-Eidson Trial Techniques Scholarship, and the A. James Elliott Community Service Award, which recognized her as the graduating law student most committed to community service. At Emory, Ms. Hurtado served as a Director of the Emory Law Mock Trial Team, competing in prestigious national competitions. She was named “Best Advocate” at the 2023 Harvard Law School Crimson Cup, National Champion at the 2022 William W. Daniel Mock Trial Competition, and a Semi-Finalist at both the 2023 Summit Cup and 2024 TYLA National Trial Competition. In recognition of her advocacy, she was inducted into The Order of Barristers, a national honor society for excellence in trial advocacy.
Ms. Hurtado completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, graduating magna cum laude with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Sport Administration and Human and Social Development, along with a minor in Spanish. She completed her degree in just three years as a President’s Scholarship Recipient and Foote Fellow, earning consistent placement on the President’s and Provost’s Honor Rolls.
Ms. Hurtado is a 2024 recipient of the inaugural Young Alumni Award from Gulliver Prep, her high school alma mater, where she was inducted into the Gulliver Student Wall of Fame in 2018. She continues to give back through her role on the Gulliver Prep Alumni Council.
Ms. Hurtado is licensed to practice in Florida and Georgia. She is also a Florida Notary Public, a native Spanish speaker, and has limited working proficiency in French. Known for her charisma, drive, and collaborative leadership, Ms. Hurtado is deeply committed to building strong, supportive communities in and beyond the legal field.
